A Yemeni researcher specialising in political science. Her research focuses on Yemeni affairs, public policy, international relations, migration and asylum, and political media, with particular emphasis on analysing political and social transformations in Yemen, governance issues, policies related to conflict and forced migration, and producing knowledge that supports policymaking.
Her professional experience includes working as an editor and news publisher for several newspapers, where she contributed to preparing and editing reports and analytical articles on Yemeni and regional affairs and human rights issues. She has also worked as an interpreter on several United Nations programmes and international projects, including those of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and UNICEF. In addition, she has experience in human resources management and customer service in Türkiye. She has participated in specialised training programmes in diplomacy, public policy analysis, action research, local development, and entrepreneurship, further strengthening her expertise in research and analysis, report writing, and knowledge management.
She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Ankara University, Türkiye, graduating with Excellent honours, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Sana’a University, graduating with Excellent honours and Distinction, and ranking first in her cohort.
