Ahlam Abdullah Mohammed
Director of Women, Peace and Security Studies Program
A Yemeni researcher specialising in international relations, political affairs, and legal policy. Her research interests focus on European–Arab relations, international law, women, peace and security, asylum and migration policies, peacebuilding, mediation, and the analysis of regional and international interactions, with particular emphasis on Yemeni affairs and producing research that supports policymaking.
She has more than twenty years of professional experience in political affairs and international relations, during which she contributed to strengthening Yemen–European Union relations, monitoring political, economic, and humanitarian developments in Yemen, supporting United Nations-led peace efforts, and coordinating with European institutions and international organisations.
She holds three Master’s degrees in European Studies, Political Science and International Relations, in addition to a Master’s degree in Political Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University.
