A Yemeni researcher specialising in development economics, public finance, and economic policy. Her research focuses on sustainable development, the political economy of development, public finance, food security, climate economics, public policy evaluation, and economic data analysis, with particular emphasis on strengthening fiscal governance, institution building, and supporting evidence-based policymaking in Yemen and the wider Arab region.

Her professional experience includes consultancy work in public financial management, policy analysis, and institutional performance monitoring. She has also contributed to climate-related financial risk initiatives, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosures, as well as regulatory and supervisory analyses.

She holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics from the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, graduating with Excellent honours, and a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from Sana’a University.
